- Pathways Professional Counseling offers Christ-centered counseling for children, youth, unmarried adults, married adults individually, married adults as couples, and families (Services include counseling for individuals and groups, creative techniques for counseling children, premarital counseling, marriage enrichment seminars, assistance to individuals and couples to strengthen parenting skills, and divorce recovery.)
- We also offer Assistance to clients as they choose the pathways that will bring them the greatest peace and contentment (We acknowledge that all healing comes from God.)
Our counseling ministry is a non-profit ministry. We offer counseling at a very affordable cost to those who come through our doors. We also will not turn anyone away for their inability to pay for counseling.

Licensed Professional Counselor
Steve Trader is a Licensed Professional Counselor by the Board of Examiners in Counseling in the State of Alabama. He is also a National Certified Counselor by the NBCC. Mr. Trader received his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from the University of North Alabama. He received a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Jacksonville State University. He received a Master’s degree in Theology and uses this degree to assist him in the incorporation of a Christ-centered approach to counseling. Steve uses many counseling theories in an eclectic approach to counseling and always strives to honor God. Steve has served as a pastor and in other staff positions in churches across the state of Alabama over the last twenty years. He takes appointments for Pathways Professional Counseling in Linden, Grove Hill, and Selma. He works in cooperation with the various associational offices within these cities. Mr. Trader and his wife, Susie, have two children and currently reside in the Clarke County area. They are very active in the church where they attend.
